Using the Excel ODD Function
SummaryThe ODD function returns the next odd integer after a given number has been rounded up. ODD will always round numbers up (i.e. away from zero). This means that positive numbers become larger and negative numbers become smaller. Use the EVEN function if you need to round to the next even integer.
The number argument is required in the ODD function. This is the number that you would like to round.
Usage NotesThe ODD function returns the nearest odd integer of a given number when it is rounded up. If the number is already odd, no rounding will take place. If the number is negative the value will be rounded down, so the number will become more negative.
If the number is non-numeric, then the #VALUE! error will be returned by the function.
